The Brahma Purana is one of the eighteen major Puranas, which are ancient Hindu texts. It is believed to have been composed in Sanskrit by Vyasa, the legendary author of the Mahabharata, and it is dedicated to Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, hence the name Brahma Purana.
ब्रह्म पुराण अठारह प्रमुख पुराणों में से एक है, जो प्राचीन हिंदू ग्रंथ हैं। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इसकी रचना महाभारत के प्रसिद्ध लेखक व्यास द्वारा संस्कृत में की गई थी, और यह ब्रह्मांड के निर्माता भगवान ब्रह्मा को समर्पित है, इसलिए इसका नाम ब्रह्म पुराण पड़ा।
